This week, national independent record label Tate Music Group announces the nationwide release of “Amazed,” the newest album from local country artist, Lynn Schriner.
Produced by Tate Music Group, the album includes nine tracks and is currently available nationwide at the iTunes Store, Amazon.com, or directly from TateMusicGroup.com.
For Lynn Schriner, music has been an important aspect of her life for many years. However, after several albums and countless shows, her music is still only as important as the people it can help.

Traveling the globe, Schriner became aware of the dire conditions for many orphans around the world. In 2000, she founded “Damascus Ministries,” a not-for-profit organization that aids orphans worldwide, as well as enriches their lives through music.

With “Amazed,” Schriner captures her love of music and humanity, as she creates a sound that promises to please fans of country music. In addition, 50 percent of all record sales will go toward Damascus Ministries.

Lynn Schriner’s music is influenced by some of her favorites including U2, Joni Mitchell, Eva Cassidy, Wynonna Judd, Sugarland and Andre Bocelli. Most of her music is driven by strings, piano, guitar and drums, with touches of fiddle, steele guitar and banjo. After some sporadic songwriting in college, Lynn fronted a touring rock band that traveled Europe and a USA tour. Upon her return, she found her gospel wings, recording a gospel album entitled, Lynnee With You. In the following years, she sang extensively in mega churches and other venues including Governor’s Balls and State Fairs. Lynn’s eyes were opened in 2000 to the plight of orphans around the world, and Damascus Ministries, a not for profit outreach through music was founded. She recorded a second album, Sparrow, with all proceeds going to the work. In 2010, Lynn was signed with TMG, and together, they are releasing this year’s breakout work by Lynn Schriner, Amazed. Fifty percent of the artist’s cut from record sales and tours will continue to fund the work with the orphans.
