On November 28th, The Venetia Fair, of Boston, Massachusetts, is playing in Denver at Quixote’s True Blue. The band can only be described as a hot, wild, beautiful musical train wreck. The band has a lively and unique style that can’t be defined as one genre alone. The music has a theatrical vibe done in a varied and complex fashion. The lyrics are intelligent, well thought out, and beautiful. The Venetia Fair chooses to phrase ideas in their songs using incredibly interesting lyrics, such as, “Shoddy wordplay dressed as relevant thoughts on the off-chance something clicks. It’s superficial, dull grandiloquence married to pomp, a stranger to circumstance”. The way their songs are written is not only fun, but also strikingly elaborate. They are creative to a degree that most bands today could only hope to achieve. Every member of the band exemplifies extraordinary musical talent and the instruments are played with such energy that catches the listener from the whimsical introductions. As far as vocals are concerned, Benny Santoro pulls the audience in with his voice, and keeps them there through the entire song with a range from soft sweet notes to passionate screams. The Venetia Fair, while only on their first tour through Colorado, will get big. Their charisma and great music ensures this. The Venetia Fair has big things ahead of them, and will certainly only continue to gain popularity. Make sure you come out to the show and see them while the shows are still smaller and more intimate, because they will undoubtedly soon be playing in amphitheatres.

They are will also be playing Fort Collins on November 27th and Grand Junction on November 29th.
