Better Days is Chris Daniels new solo project — a project that includes a line up of guest musicians from Swallow Hill Music favorites to acoustic and bluegrass legends. This is Daniels’s first solo project in 30 years.Returning to his folk and bluegrass roots, Better Days has 15 original songs that cover everything from Medical Marijuana to Cabin Fever. Guest artists include Mollie O’Brien, Sam Bush, Ernie Martinez, Richie Furay, Kenny Passarelli, Lloyd Mains (Dixie Chicks), Tim Goodman (Southern Pacific), Greg Garrison (Punch Brothers), Jake “Opie” Schroder, Freddi Gowdy (Fredi Henchi Band), members of the Queen City Jazz Band, Tim Irvin (Flash Cadillac) Mark O’Blinger, Jane Roche, Hazel Miller, and many more.
This concert and album release will be a return to Chris’s roots — with the help of an amazing line up of friends and, of course, finishing out with the Kings.
