MAKE MUSIC DENVER IS CALLING ALL MUSIC LOVERS!
April 6, 2012, DENVER, CO – The Downtown Denver Partnership is proud to announce the first annual Make Music Denver event, a daylong celebration of local live music produced by Downtown Denver Events. On June 21, 2012 Downtown sidewalks, parks, street corners, restaurants and businesses will setting for live music. Musicians of all ages, genres and abilities are welcome.
“Denver has a remarkably strong and vibrant music scene, from a myriad of world-class venues to some of the most popular bands in the country having their roots here,” said Tami Door, Downtown Denver Partnership President and CEO. “There is no better way to celebrate local talent than with an event devoted to making music in Downtown Denver, a cultural center with a robust amount of cross-cultural influences. Make Music Denver provides people with free access to music along with a chance to appreciate the impact it has on our lives.”
Currently, Make Music Denver is calling out to all music lovers, makers and appreciators to sign up as a host venue, a performer or a volunteer. All performances are free for the public to attend.
