Taylor Swift Reputation Tour Denver
goddess (n.) – a woman whose great charm or beauty arouses adoration.
Never let it be said that necessity isn’t the best mother of invention. Think you’re going to take Taylor Swift’s castle down with some snarky words? Silly cynics, Swift is a dominatrix of words; they fuel her continuous success. Oh, and, she doesn’t give a damn about her “bad reputation.”
Once again, the relatable Swift managed to effortlessly engage 58,000 fans and make them feel like friends. LED bracelets handed out, lit up Mile Hi Stadium. Said Swift, “I can see every single person, even in the back. I can tell when you’re dancing and moving. It makes me feel connected to all of you.”
Few people market themselves the way Swift does, and few people can pull off a massive stadium performance like Swift: 3 Stages. Snakes. Canon Confetti. Lighted Cages. Screens and Screams. A setlist that ran the gamut of her life story, aka, her albums over the last 15 years.
The stadium offered non-stop scenery, from the fireworks over the main stage, the moon’s special appearance, and the united panoramic glow from the LED bracelets which twinkled in the stands.
From her commanding dance routines on the main stage, to traveling in a lighted cage to 2 secondary stages for stripped down sets, Swift took us from the beautifully-naive Taylor, to the Heartbroken Taylor, to the Grown-Up-and-In-Love Taylor, to the Taylor who, once again refuses to back down to detractors. Baby, let the games begin.
