The Source and Engine7 To Host Grand Opening Party to Benefit Global Playing For Change Foundation
DENVER, CO (September 5, 2013) – For the first time ever,
Denver will host a 1LOVE Playing For Change Day celebration,
joining more than 500 musicians in more than 55 countries
who will perform for charity on one day: September 21st,
2013.
Local media production company Engine7 today announced
the details of the event – a block party hosted in conjunction
with the public grand opening of The Source, the highlyanticipated, restaurant-driven, urban food market in the RiNo
district.
The celebration of food, music and community will raise funds through the gourmet food and
beverage merchants in The Source who will donate 10% of their total sales from the day to the
Playing For Change Foundation, a worldwide non-profit dedicated to creating positive change
through music and arts education.
Entertainment at the event will be donated by the musicians participating in Playing For Change
Day and include reggae band JusGoodie and rock performers The Rob Drabkin Band, as well DJ
Mike Moses.
