Third Annual CAM JAM Free Music Festival at UC Denver Campus

When: Thursday, April 26,, 2012 from 11am to 4:30pm
Where: UC Denver on the Auraria Campus in Downtown Denver on the big stage on the Southeast corner of the Tivoli building. Parking is available just off 9th street in the covered lot just across from the Pepsi Center.
Who: Five bands in an all day FREE festival celebrating spring and great new up-and-coming Colorado artists. Bands include: Princess Music, Broken Tongues, critically acclaimed acts Churchill and Places along with UCD’s own Green River Vibe.
More: CU Denver Live! and CAM JAM Presents will be putting on a free music festival for the public at the Auraria Campus in Downtown Denver. Five great new Colorado home grown bands will take the stage at the outdoor amphitheatre located on the northeast side of the Tivoli Building. The show is being produced by College of Arts and Media students who are planning every detail of the festival for the third time in the past four years.
Bands from various genres will be performing including Princess Music, Broken Tongues, critically acclaimed acts Churchill and Places – along with UCD’s own Green River Vibe. With styles ranging from Hip/Hop, Reggae, to Pop, and Rock – everyone is sure to find a new artist that they will enjoy and we believe they will discover the fantastic wealth of young talent coming out of Colorado.
UCD and the College of Arts & Media have seen their students working with the likes of The Fray, DeVotchKa , The Flobots, Air Dubai, 3oh3 and a flock of new and very successful bands and The CAM JAM Festival has begun a tradition of introducing those bands to a bigger audience. The event is being sponsored by Doghouse Music, Vitamin Water, and Red Bull and is partnered with the Upper Route 40 music conference.
